Futurism is a Italian movement around 1910 the type of work they
produce is energetic, dynamic, and violent quality an example futurism work is famous artist Carlo Carra.

Futurism doesnt just come in the form of painting it also covers ceramics, sculpture, industrial design, Graphic design, film, fashion, textiles, interior design, theatre, literature, music, architecture.
An example of futurism in fashion is fausto sarli she done a collection in 2008 that was describe by critic as “the show had a curvy, retro futurist quality whether with cashmere apple-shaped jackets or mega frilled Art Deco columns for evening.”
Then continued this for her summer collection and we can clearly see that she had be inspired by the futurism movement.
The critics described this one as “futuristic aero-painting” print that looked a lot like watered-down Italian Futurism…”

surrealism

Surrealism is a 20th century movement of artists and writers this includes Surrealist music music and film.
Separation - Edvard Munch
This is a surreal image but still has a story behind it, by the figures in the image it shows a bride walking away, possibility at the altar, the male figures is grabbing his heart as to show heart break. The vale of the brides dress disappears into the distance suggesting they have come a long way in their relationship. The colours of the background are dark and gloomy creating a cold, painful feeling.

Another artist that was involved in the surrealusm movement is Giorgio De Chirico
L'Angoisse du départ - Giorgio De Chirico
This image gives a chilling effect as we can see both silhouette of the little girl and a male figure but we know the little girl is not aware of her the danger ahead of her. Although if you continue to study this image your perception can change she could be running towards the male figure as it is reaching sunset, she could be on her way home, she could even be runny away from danger instead of towards it.

Abstract art

Kazimir Malevich - Black square 1915
Daring art work that i believe able the gallery goers and audience create their own abstract art.
Abstract art is a form of colour and line to create a composition which shows independence within the drawing also show freeness.
Music is also a form of abstract art as it can generate meaning feeling and memory for one person.

Another artist that's work is abstract and has seem to influenced some illustrators is Theo van Doesburg with his famous painting Elementarism: Counter-Composition XVI in dissonances. 1925.
